Why should I join ACCCO?

No other organization offers the breadth and scope of ACCCO’s services, because ACCCO’s only bottom-line interest is YOUR success.

What is your ACCCO membership worth to you, to your company, to your livelihood? Think of it this way. If ACCCO was an employee of yours named ACCCO, some of his job responsibilities would be as follows:

  • Providing technical info to other employees, answering FAQ’s, providing code info, doing Manual J work
  • Putting on training classes, setting up training conferences, providing CEU’s
  • Representing the company in all local, state, and federal government matters pertaining to our industry
  • Talking to other fellow contractors for advice on how to make the company better
  • If you were that employee, based on an annual salary of $360/year (dues) at 2,080 hour per year, you would do all the above for a pay of $0.17/hour! What a bargain for the company to get all of the above for such a low rate. So why aren’t you hiring ACCCO?

Member Testimonials

“It would have been about 1976. My Dad suggested I start going to our association meetings. Well…here we are 2023 and I am still involved. If you listen to your fellow contractors, you will learn!!  What I have learned has been priceless and made so many friends along the way.”

Deborah Ratcliff, Ratcliff’s Heat & air, Inc.

“Nothing like networking…you learn so much! I would not want it any other way.”

“The reason that I joined ACCCO Is for the monthly meetings and the chance to win some money.

NOT. Really, it was a chance to give back to an industry that has treated me well over 40 years. It is also a way to give back to the community with projects like Heat the Town. It is also a way for the industry to help me arrange my program with what the industry is wanting and needing to continue to grow and flourish.”

Bill Highley, Columbus State

“I’ve been in the HVAC industry for 20 years!! During that time, 15 years of that I was in a company van as a service technician. I’ve worked on everything from residential single family split systems to multi ton chillers with fan blades as big as helicopter rotors. After 15 years as a technician, I had the opportunity to move into a manager role and eventually that turned into purchasing the company from the original founder. Transitioning into that role, I was able to fill the company seat held with ACCCO. With that I have met so many people within the organization who were willing to help me along the way. I remember thinking to myself I did not belong with all the experienced business owners and professionals. Without this organization I can confidently say I would not be in the position I am in professionally. I recommend anyone to join and take advantage of all the perks and networking that comes with it. Probably my favorite thing about the group is no matter where we are together, whenever we have an outing or event or anything for that matter, for that brief time, we are not competitors.”
